Philippine RN to take NCLEX

Published

Hi Everyone!!!

I have been posting and asking help the past months about what to do with my career as a Nurse.Since I am a FOREIGN GRADUATE, it is tough to start and be a Registered Nurse here in the States. Sometimes, I would ask a Filipino Nurse and would advise me to go back to school. And I say, what?? But because of the advise, I went to a local Community College who offers the BEST NURSING PROGRAM. However the Nursing Coordinator and the Dean advised me to ask State Department of Health.

I am struggling because I feel alone, walking blindly..

But I am almost there now after all the difficulties...

In the state I am eyeing for, it requires almost everything.

  • CGFNS CES
  • English Proficiency Test
  • Continuing Education (HIV/AIDS)
  • BLS
  • CPR

It looks few but I feel like I was crawling like a baby again. I graduated 9 years ago..but I know God is with me so I continued the journey in spite the HARDSHIP. In a place where you don't have anybody...but just you, your husband and your God.You will hold on definitely to your faith with God.

I am done with IELTS..did self review for 1-1/2 months.Passed the first try.

Done with continuing education and so with CPR & BLS Training under American Heart Association.

Now I just printed out the forms from CGFNS for me to submit it to my school and to PRC for verification..

If you are struggling right now, you are not alone..Don't worry all these will END SOON.
