Thomas Jefferson FACT Program

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

Hi.

I have been accepted into the TJU FACT program that begins in May but the orientation isn't until a week before classes begin and I would like to get a better idea of the scheduling. I know it's 5 days a week but does anyone have some more specific info? i have to arrange for child care and transportation and a general idea of the class/clinical hours would be helpful.

also...anyone else out there starting the program with me in May?

I got an interview request today! Apparently they are running a little behind, and are not done with all the apps... :)

Since they are behind on applications, does that mean the people who havent heard yet should just be patient? I know that the decision date was yesterday, but since they are behind should we disregard that?

I would be patient, I didn't get a phone call until the end of the day yesterday so I think they are still processing stuff!

Congrats to all who have gotten their acceptance!!

I've already told my family I'm going to disappear for a year, starting next May. :)

Hey guys,

What should I expect at the Jeff interview? Is it really formal, or pretty laid-back?

No worries!! Totally laid back. Just be yourself! Good luck!

Specializes in Anesthesia.

Good luck and congratulations to all of you!!

I can't wait until you guys start your classes (cause that means I would have graduated already!!):chuckle

Tip for you all: Start sending in the Child Abuse forms, Vaccinations (like the Hep-B becuase that series takes 6 months), Final transcripts and Health Insurance Information NOW. It'll free up more time later on for last minute things.....

Laid-back. Mine appeared to be pretty much a formality. Chill. :)

Hey Everyone! I had my interview today, and Niki told me I was accepted during it! Came home and already had the acceptance email! I was nervous about the interview, but it was very laid-back.

Im so excited lots of questions/researching to do...its making it very hard to study for my exam tomorrow!

Is anyone attending the open house on November 1st?

Congratulations!!! I told you the interview seemed pretty much a formality. :)

Not going to the open house -- isn't that for potential new students (people just thinking about attending Jeff)? Regardless, when I got accepted to the other program, I went to all the get-togethers, etc. Don't feel the need to do any of that again. :) I might attend Accepted Students Day (in February or March) just to meet some of my fellow FACTers.

Hang on to your hats, folks! It's going to be quite a ride! :chuckle

I had my interview with Niki today and was accepted on the spot! :yeah: I'm still going to wait to hear from Villanova before I decide for sure on Jeff, but I'm just happy and relieved to be accepted somewhere (and into a great program!).

Congrats to everybody else too!
