Drexel ACE Acceptance

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

Does anyone remember how long it took to get an acceptance letter from the ACE program after your application was complete?

I applied last year for the fall of 2008 and my application was complete about a month ago and was wondering how this process works?

Should I be bugging them?

Thanks!

last week they just got my whole transcript situation organized..

ok well keep in touch with the decisions...

I also applied for the ACE program

did you hear anything yet?

I am still waiting, hopefully something will come up soon.

Did you finish all your pre-req's?

Infamous nurse and Nanagose:

did u hear anything from ??

I have not heard anything yet....

I called and she said that I should get a decision letter by Christmas. So I'm crossing my fingers!

WhiteHat,

I am so sorry! I am actually quite surprised because you mentioned that you recieved A's in your prereqs and when I talked to they said the prereqs are the most important thing! Did you have a 3.0 in the last 60 credits taken?? If so, you fulfilled the requirements and you should have them reevaluate your application! Let me know if you had it and don't lose hope! Good luck!

nanagose,

did u receive a letter from yet?

I am still waiting... I don't think this is good... everyone else has their letters...

i think this is bad news...

i don't know... im still waiting and praying.. definitely let me know how everything goes. Take care

I got my letter today - it was an acceptance. The best Christmas present, for sure!

Fouzia, I would call if I were you, ASAP after the holidays. You should have heard by now no matter what the outcome - the fact that you haven't might mean that there's something missing from your application or something like that.

So yeah, definitely make a call and see what's holding things up. Let us know how it goes!!

:balloons: CONGRATULATIONS!!!

i am so soo happy for u !!!

since i had my transcripts firgured out the same time u did , I think mines should have came in the mail but I am away from home so I won't know until tomorrow to check my mail !!

I am very happy for u nanagose !! come back to the states!!!!

i will mail my response on this site!

tak ecare and enjoy ur holiday!

fozi

I checked my mail and there was no letter in the mail..

my application is complete, I called 2 weeks ago and they said it was complete... I guess I will call again to see if they made a decision or not. If you don't mind me asking ur GPA? and if u already have ur bachelors.... i think I remember you saying u were out of states in a pre-med program... Was your acceptance letter sent out of states? I am just wondering because I live in NJ and I don't think it should take too long for a letter / decision to reach here.

ok well I am glad we have this thread. Thanx;)

take care

Fouzia, thank you so much for your warm congratulations. I too am so thankful that we have this forum - I would feel so lost without everyone's support and advice!

I will graduate this June from Northwestern (in Chicago) - my GPA as of the end of last year was a 3.12. That doesn't include my prereqs, most of which I took at other schools. I'm a psychology major, but I was originally taking pre-med classes on top of that before I realized that my future was in nursing. I was away this semester only on study abroad in Athens, but they mailed my decision letter to my parents' house in Massachusetts (where I am now).

I hope you hear something soon! I wouldn't hesitate to just call and ask when your letter will arrive - after all, arrangements need to be made for prereqs and stuff, and there's no reason they should be delaying you making plans. All the best!
