Sure,
I have a pretty average GPA from undergrad and grad (3.0) but did go to Johns Hopkins for my MSPH.
3.8 GPA pre-reqs
7 months experience as a birth assistant at a birth center
6 months contact tracing with Americorps and IHS
3 years of Tribal health work:
-2 months experience as a Covid-19 Public Health Advisor for an Indigenous non-profit
-1.5 years experience as youth and family facilitator with an Indigenous mental health non-profit, including prenatal counseling for Indigenous moms)
1.5 years experience as a clinical volunteer at a clinic for the uninsured.
Experience doing qualitative and quantitative research on barriers to anemia prevention among village women in Rajasthan.
Trained as an EMT, bilingual, president/founder of French club in undergrad, taught English abroad for a year...
Letter of Rec: OBGYN and midwife at Birth center (joint) and my p.I./advisor for my research in grad school.
So we'll see, I guess!
