I've been out of orientation for about 4 months. Things are going okay but after every shift, especially after giving report I go home feeling like an idiot and that I failed tremendously. Will this feeling ever go away?? What was it like for you as a new grad on the peds floor??

You will feel like an idiot for the first year, then less and less of an idiot for the next six months. Between 18 months and 2 yrs. experience is when you will feel comfortable in your job. It will get better. After 3-4 years and you still feel like an idiot, ask your coworkers if you are an idiot. If they say no, then seek professional help as to why you continue to feel that way.
