So i was thinking of becoming a pediatric np. Are there jobs? Is it too specialized and is it better to become a family np and then work as a PNP? Thx!

What advice i can give you is follow your passion. If you have absolutely no interest in working with adults then go PNP. You'll have a strong clinical background in peds, spend a lot of time concentrating in fields that you possible would consider over not consider. Do you have RN experience in pediatrics? If so, maybe it won't matter that much, but I think sometimes keep doors open shuts a lot of them without you knowing because you don't have the confidence you otherwise might have had. Or, you find yourself working in a field of nursing/medicine you wished you didn't have to. Hope this helps!
PS: May I ask what specialty of Pediatrics you are interested in?
