Pearson Vue Trick was WRONG

Hi everyone, I felt I had to post this!! I took my NCLEX on Tuesday and left feeling super down, I literally felt confident about maybe 20 questions. I cried A LOT and was pretty sure I failed. I did the Pearson Vue trick no less than 1000 times and got the “bad pop up” every time. I read post after post about how the trick is supposedly 99.9% accurate which made me even more depressed. I was already looking into which cities I could travel to to attend an in-person NCLEX review!

Checked my state’s BON website this morning and low and behold my name popped up under RN license verification!!! So the Pearson Vue trick was wrong! I followed all of the specific instructions and never once got the good pop up.

If the trick works for you and you get a good pop up congrats! I don’t think I’ve ever read about anyone getting a false positive so the good pop seems to be pretty accurate. If you get the bad pop up though don’t worry, the trick is not guaranteed. Pearson Vue should honestly look into the little trick because it just adds to everyone’s anxiety and is really just a weird site error that should not be used to check NCLEX results.

Good luck y’all and feel free to ask me anything! 🙂

The only trick that is that accurate is looking up your name on your BON website. PVT is as accurate as flipping a coin (heads-pass/tails-failed). There will be people that get heads and they pass, they'll claim it is 100% accurate because it worked for them.

Agreed 100%. I was agonizing I'd failed miserably as my exam shut off at 76 questions, did the trick well after 24 hours, so the second round of grading was done, and the trick gave me the failing pop up, yet I got my quick results today, and I'm officially an RN.

Did they make you pay?

Or did you never get to that point

I never paid, I was able to check my state's BON website before the quick results even came out :)

Completely agree. This is why when I take my test on July 10th, I don't plan on doing the PVT trick. Our BON came to our nursing school and straight up told us that its not accurate. I think I can wait two days for my results (but really one day because everyone that has taken it so far in my class states that they got their results back the next day from the BON).

Lol yes, I would totally skip doing the PVT trick. Good luck on your test!

I have had severe anxiety about my test.  I took it today and have done the PVT 3x since leaving.  Each time getting the "bad pop-up".  I have read forums about waiting 24 hours and then trying PVT, but it's so disappointing.  I should have never done it.

I know it's hard, but stop doing the PVT trick. It's not the official results so you still have a chance of passing. I know what you're going through at this very moment because I took my test today too, but I refuse to do the PVT trick because I don't trust it.

I did the PVT trick last month when I took mine, and it was WRONG. I spent 2 days sobbing because I thought I failed. Don't do this for your own mental health!

I’m having a bit of a dilemma right now lol. So at first I tried to reregister and I put in my credit card info correct except for the exp date. I clicked submit and it said invalid exp date. I immediately freaked the heck out. I tried to reregister again but this time I put in the wrong CVV code and then I got the good pop up! Has this happened to anyone else? I’m so nervous 😞 for reference my exam shut off at 75 and I had a ton of SATA. Got green lighted from ati and a very high chance of passing with Uworld.
Thanks!
