Thought I'd start a 2014 PVT poll

"Good" pop up says: "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

"Test on hold" pop up says: "The candidate currently has test results that are on hold"

"Credit card page": takes you to the credit card page to make a payment.

The PVT worked for me!! Took NCLEX-PN at 8am Friday 8/15, tried the trick at about 2pm that afternoon and got the good pop-up, quick results this morning confirmed that I passed!

Took the NCLEX yesterday and had 265 questions. I went home and did the PVT and got the "results on hold" pop up and tried repeatedly all night. Today I tried the PVT and got the CC page. I seriously hope this is wrong. I've already been hired at a hospital and the next available day for me to take the NCLEX will be when I was planning to go to Europe. I just feel like a failure. I studied using Kaplan and my school used ATI. I even read through the Mark Klimeck books. I just don't know what to do...

Took the NCLEX on Wednesday, did the PVT as soon as I got in the parking lot and got the good pop up. Called the license line the next day and it said I had a Registered Nurse license. Checked BON website today and my license is on there. Officially a RN!!

I just took my NCLEX RN today 8/22/2014 at 1 and got all 265 questions... it was my second time taking it the first time I took it and got all of the questions also and failed got the cc screen so I thought I failed today too I cried the whole way home and then I did the trick and got the good pop but without the contact your member board for further assistance. So I am praying that means I passed and that I am not part of the 3% who got that and fail :( And I am leaving on a cruise tmrw for 6 days so I will not be able to check my quick results in 48 hrs. Oh I am from FL too if that has anything to do with it !!!

I took my NCLEXRN yesterday (8/23/14) and just about freaked out because I got all 265 questions. I did the PVT as soon as I got home about 1 p.m. and I did get the "good popup" and yes, I logged out and in and checked multiple times. However I noticed a warning in red text when I was logging in that said the Pearson website would be down for updating/ maintenance from 5 p.m.-11 p.m. CST. I just tried the PVT again (after the update, 8/24/14 @ 1 a.m.) and now it sends me straight to the CC page. However, it is also sending me straight to the CC page to pay for my NCLEXPN which I took and passed with 85 questions in 2011. So, my guess is that Pearson has now adjusted their system to where either way it just sends you to the payment screen and the trick no longer works. I'm in Texas and can get my results early on Monday morning so I guess I will know soon enough.

I suspect that the update broke something that shouldn't have been broken. Given that my own results have been completed fairly recently and I used to be able to at least see the "delivery successful" status and now that no exam status has been shown, I think someone goofed and (unintentionally) broke the system. I'm sure they've known about the PVT on their end too for a long time and they still get money from people that want to pay for quick results because the PVT isn't 100% reliable and some states don't participate. It just doesn't make sense to break something that way and essentially have people schedule and pay for another exam if they don't need to. Such a thing could result in some lawsuits if they don't issue timely refunds. I suspect that's why the PVT system was set up... to prevent people that had passing scores from re-registering.

Until things are fixed, don't despair if you get the CC page, especially if you recently got the good popup and now you don't. That also means no matter what, don't pay for another exam if you've just taken the NCLEX. You can try the PVT but DO NOT PAY no matter the result.

I really do think they accidentally broke something.

oh my goodness, I am so happy to see other people experiencing the same thing I am! I took the test Aug 21 and got the "good pop up" about 25 times (slightly obsessive) between Thursday and Friday. Called the BON Friday afternoon, and they were nice enough to give me my passing results... Name is still pending on the BON website... so I just HAD to try the trick again, and now Pearson is sending me to the cc page... which is making me second guess what they told me over the phone. I never guessed that this test would mess with my emotions and brain so much!

Accident or intentional- I am just glad I am not the only one experiencing it :) Monday morning needs to hurry up and get here.

On a side note, there would be no grounds for lawsuits due to the disclaimer and agreement that testers must agree to that discloses Pearson's strict no refund policy, it's pretty much a binding agreement. I actually read on another post where someone had re-registered and re-paid based on the PVT and no refund was issued even after the person found out they actually passed.

At least you are able to get quick results. My state doesn't participate. So I am waiting for the Active status on the website. Crazy.

Took the nclex pn Friday august 22, 2014. Got the "good pop up" as soon as I got home! Checked it all day Friday and yesterday multiple times! Then I did seen that there was a banner up on the Pearson vue website yesterday (august 23) that they are doing routine matinence on the website 5pm-11pm

I tried the pop up again and went to the credit card page! I am able to do quick results and will know in a hour!

Super nervous! I'll update you guys when I know

At least you are able to get quick results. My state doesn't participate. So I am waiting for the Active status on the website. Crazy.

I am truly freaking out! I took my test on Friday at 1 pm. I got the good pop up around 430 and now people are saying that the good pop up is not reliable and may not be true. I did the quick results just now and it said PASS but, --- are the unofficial results LEGIT???

Will it say PASS and really be that I did not pass?
