Hello fellow nursing friends,
So, my question is; I recently took the NCLEX and found out that the BRN has yet to receive my transcripts. I live in CA, so yes you are allowed to take the NCLEX and get your ATT before the BRN receives all your papers. Anyway, I took the NCLEX, sat in it for about 4-5 hours and did the pearson vue trick. I got the "good pop-up". However, I am wondering since the BRN hasnt received my transcripts, if this good pop up even matters?! I AM SERIOUSLY FREAKING OUT. & now when they fix this problem with my transcripts, it wont be till a couple of weeks until I find my name on the BON. HELP PLEASE!!

Don't freak out!! This happened to my entire class, our school told us they were going to forward our transcripts on our behalf and it never happened. After sending my transcript it took 3.5 weeks to have my lic# posted on the brn website. I called the BRN a few times (call at 8am sharp or you'll never get through!) and was told that they dont get to their mail for 3 weeks.
Some of my classmates drove to Sacramento and hand delivered their transcript and their license was posted the next day.

Thanks for replying!! Did you do the Pearson vue trick when you took your test also? I can't imagine the stress you had waiting, I don't think I handle that. The test was stressful enough!
I didn't stress at all, did the PVT trick.. It’s been 100% accurate for all of my classmates. I had confidence in my studying. You should too, remember the first time pass rate is like 86%? plus the PVT, you got it. Take a breather and congratulate yourself, it’s done.

What is the PVT I'm now in my senior year trying to figure out how to prepare for nclex.

See this thread for PVT: https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/pearsonvue-trick-does-621075.html
To the OP: the PVT is unrelated to the BON. PVT = your grade on the NCLEX exam, nothing else.
