Pearson VUE ATT

Published

Good day to everyone! i need your advice regarding the ATT that the pearson vue issues. i already received the eligibility from the state that i'm applying to and i'm planning to take my nclex exam by april or may. i'm just wondering if i need to register with pearson vue now? will the ATT that they will send to me has a 365 days validity from the date of issuance? and when should i schedule my exam if i'm planning to take it on my desired dates?

Register and pay Pearson Vue, wait a few days and you will get the ATT by email. You will only get 90 days from the validity of issue date. As soon as you get the ATT in the email schedule the test because the dates fill up fast, trust me I have to take my test at 8 in the morning because that was the only times left. I'm not a morning person so I have to start practicing my Nclex in the morning until next month when I test. Get everything done asap!

Hi, your ATT validation only for 90 days, not 365. Within that period you can choose the date of your exam. Good Luck

kinda confuse..validity of att is 90 days only?

Each state determines how long their ATT is valid. Be careful about asking questions on forums because you will get multiple answers. Take a deep breath. Look up your own validity dates of your states ATT. Then plan accordingly. Bust you butt on test review. Work as hard as you can so you are prepped and ready to take it tomorrow, next week or next month.:)

"The ATT contains the test authorization number, candidate identification number and an expiration date. Each ATT is valid for a period of time specified by the state board of nursing (varies from 60 days to 365 days; however, the average is 90 days). Once the board of nursing declares a candidate eligible to test and the ATT is issued, a candidate must test within the validity dates of their ATT. These validity dates cannot be extended for any reason."~Authorization to Test

Yea she's right, check out your state validation. Michigan is 90 days

Check with your state so you don't wait too long to register for the test and miss out.

oh okay so the validity of the ATT varies from which state you're registering with, but mostly they give a 90 days validity? am i correct? btw i'm applying in CA. and also im thinking that i need at least a 3 month review for the test so is it advisable to register on January for me to take the test on april?

Yea but keep in mind the Nclex test plan change April 1st it gets harder. I would take the test March 31st. LOL

i will be taking the NCLEX-RN and i think the NCLEX-PN are the one that will be updated next year on april.

and one more thing how early should i schedule my exam date?

No, they will update RN and PN. They said the patients are requesting a more smarter nurse, so that's why they are doing this. Be ready!
