Pay per hour in Alabama for LPN?

Published

I applied for RN program but got accepted in the LPN program. I was wondering what the pay per hour difference is in Alabama? Any body have a guess?

Hi, Regina66

I'm in Alabama too...so I was wondering where did you get accepted? I was also wondering what's the pay for LPN's in Alabama...but I can't seen to find that info anywhere....

Gadsden and Northeast. I have a sister-in-law who is a RN and applying to Riverview. She said they give a $1500 signon bonus for RN's. I wonder if they do for LPN's too?

I am in Alabama near the Gadsden area. Do you have to sign a 1 or 2 yr contract to get the signon bonus? I wasn't sure.

Sorry, I am no longer talking to my ex-sister-in-law. I caught her last week with another man!!! :argue: She is also under investigation by the ABN for Drug Abuse. We are shocked and sad. She is a very messed up lady....

I am in the LPN program at Central Alabama CC and one of my classmates works as a PCA at Brookwood and she said they start LPNs at $15/hr...not bad,but I think one of the requirements is that you have to be planning to go back to school to get your RN degree. Most places that I know start at around $11 or $12/hr.
