Patient Safety Aide

Published

I have an interview next week for a per diem Patient Safety Aide position at Tufts Medical Center in Boston - can anyone shed some light as to what this position entails or any info on Tufts? This will be my first position in the medical field since getting my CNA and before I go to LPN school in August. Also, any hints on questions I might ask or will be asked to me during the interview? I know its an enrty level position but I just wanted to get some experience, esp in a hospital, before starting LPN school. Thanks in advance!!!! :)

Specializes in Nursing Assistant.

Heyyy Sawyer!! How you have you been? I've been working at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen as a Safe Sitter. I think that might be similar to the Patient Safety Aide job. I just sit with patients who are not allowed out of bed or who might cause harm to themselves. I think your position calls for some basic CNA work however (ADLs, feeding, etc). Either way good luck with the interview hun!:D:yeah:

Hi Ladi!! Thanks for the info - thats what I kinda assumed - just nervous because its my first interview ever ( I've worked at my family business for 20 years!). I think I applied for one of the safe sitter jobs where you work - but I never heard anything from them.

How'd you make out with the CNA test and your interview at GL? You can PM or email me at [email protected] if you prefer.
