Post maker guidelines

  1. Hi everyone
I would like to know client activity guidelines for a patient with post pacemaker.
The reason behind my posting is to compare the similarities and differences between my hospital nursing practices with other hospitals or any nursing practice in that subject. You don’t have to work in a hospital to share your nursing practice, anyone with knowledge in that matter is free to share opinion.
    Thank you.

i was JUST going to post the same type of question!! at my hospital, we keep them down, with HOB no greater than 30 degrees and may only slightly turn to their left side only for a complete 24 hrs after returning to the floor. a hospital about 30 min away from me sends their pts home the same day i believe. what does your facility do?? what about a post generator replacement?? we keep them down 24 hrs too... why i dont really know; but they are set in their ways!!
