Interviews, how do I pick which job?

Nursing Students Technicians

I have 3 interviews next week. 2 on Monday, and 1 on Tuesday. Let's imagine best case scenario and I am offered all 3 jobs. I'm really stuck between which one I should go with. Has anyone had experience with either of these, and if so, what do you recommend and why? I got my CNA in April and this will be my first job utilizing my certification.

1. CNA in senior living center. 3rd shift, 10pm to 6am. About 14 miles from my house, beautiful facility in wealthy town.

2. CNA in Nursing Home, 3rd shift although I'm unsure of hours per week. Will ask during interview and will obviously hinder my decision. Closer to home, 8 miles. In a more run down town, but previous employee reviews are really good.

3. Patient care tech in med/surg unit in a hospital. Same city as option number 1. 1st shift, 630 to 3.

Obviously 1 and 2 are almost the same.

I guess what I'm asking is do you reccomend 3rd shift in assisted living/memory care or patient care tech med/surg 1st shift?

How old are you and what are your plans for your future?

All jobs sound great. But if you want to continue your education and work as a RN or LVN number 3 will give you more acute care nursing exposure and experience.

Agree with the previous post. The hospital job will get you on the healthcare track faster if you think you want to progress to licensed nurse.
