Passing HESI but failing school tests

I'm in level 3 of an associate RN program.  All semester I have been doing poorly on my tests in school, but I've gotten the full points on all the HESI tests. Is this weird?  I feel like there's something wrong with the tests that the teachers are making.  Should we be passing and doing well on the teacher tests if we are able to get the full points on the HESI?  There are several students in the same position.

The school tests likely involve a higher level of critical thinking than a standardized test does, so it’s not that surprising.
