Passed NCLEX RN 1st take thru self review

Published

I took NCLEX RN last year and luckily passed on my first try. ( I owe it to Jesus Christ) without him I wouldn't pass it. I didn't enroll in any online classes, I just self review. I use La Charity, Saunders, Mosby, Exam cram, and Lipincott. Exam Cram and Lipincott q&a helped me a lot, didn't buy any books I just downloaded it for free. I used to answer 300-500 questions a day which i think helped me a lot. I think its important to focus more on asnwering questions so you can have the idea on how to deal with questions and how you use your critical thinking.

BTW, I also took my NLCEX PN here in CA. and still waiting for the result, hope I pass ;)

Congratz! Forgive me for asking, but I'm just curious. What made you decide to take the NCLEX PN after you have already passed the NCLEX RN? I always thought once you held a higher license (that from the NCLEX RN), jobs would only be offered toward your highest earned title.

Regardless, CONGRATZ:up: to you once again! And, yes, I totally agree it is all in Gods Hands. As I prepare for my retake and hopefully last NCLEX RN exam... I just keep praying that I am following and will fulfill the path He planned/wanted for me.

Hi, thank you so much ? I took NCLEX RN and was license in New Mexico. I thought I could apply reciprocity in CA. (Because, I live in CA.) but, unfortunately, they don't participate in reciprocity. ? because I'm a foreign graduate they told me I still have to take some subjects. Which why I decided to apply for LVN here in CA. So that I can work here. (Planning to endorse my license in Nevada so it's closer to CA)

Goodluck on your upcoming exam. Don't lose hope. It doesn't matter how many times did you take, what matters most is you don't lose hope and always keep praying. god has better plans for us we just have to trust him. ? God bless you ?

Congrats! :D

How were you able to answer 500 Q&As a day? That's pretty amazing. :woot: Per day I can just finish 250 max with a lot of breaks, trying to reach the 265 though. How long did you study? I am also a foreign grad. I am contemplating about exam cram. I have the 2nd edition, was that what you've used? Did it help you with content because I believe they are recall questions. Sorry for a lot of questions. I just have less than a month to prepare :nailbiting:

To God be the glory! :D

Congrats! :D

Hi AngelAsherah, Thank you :) Yea actually it's exhausting :p I don't have a job that's why I have plenty of time to study. I studied for almost 3 months. As of exam cram, I think some of their questions is like nclex. (Yes, they are recall questions)

I used exam cram practice questions 2nd edition.I remember when i was taking nclex, some of the questions have similarities to exam cram and also lippincott. Just answer many questions as you can but don't burn out yourself too much :) with regards to content I used mosby, it was easy to understand. Lastly, Don't forget to ask god for guidance :) good luck on your exam!:)

Congrats to you!!!

Congrats to you!!!

Thank you! :)
