Passed NCLEX RN! Read This :D

First off I want to thank everyone who has posted there NCLEX-RN experience because it helped my nerves so much! I was pinned on 3/20/2015, submitted my stuff to the MA BON on 3/30 and received my ATT the 13th and scheduled my exam for the 16th! In my opinion I would take your NCLEX as soon as possible! The earliest date I could get I took! I am not sure about other schools but for mine we did NCLEX review the last 10 weeks and had an optional ATI review four weeks before pinning. The ATI review was really helpful and it covered all the information you needed. After doing all of the ATI tests I did Kaplan Q banks about 70& of them and averaged a 62%. My Q trainers were in the low 70's and Q trainer 7 I got a 60.8%. For me Kaplan resembled NCLEX the most and ATI was a little more difficult.

The day before the exam and the day of I went over a few points I had written down and could not seem to remember over the past few weeks. I mainly relaxed in the hotel and went to the gym and hung out with my friend that had came with me. The morning of I blasted music on the way and sat for the exam. I used some lavender and rosemary oil on my wrist to help calm my anxiety. I had only about 7 SATA, 4 or 5 exhibit, and 2 pictures. The questions really were straight forward and if you have a good foundation you will rock it. Do not overthink the Q. NCLEX wants you to be a safe nurse and they are not trying to trick you. I had a lot of teaching questions as well. My test shutoff after 75Q and I had confidence that I passed. 48h later I received the quick results!

Overall just relax and believe in yourself!

One last Q though for anyone who has passed....how long until you get your license number up on the website? I am from MA btw so I have been checking the MA board of nursing website frequently but still nothing. It has only been 2 business days though but my job is waiting on it.

Some States post updates daily, others a few times a week, others weekly, and still others only every few weeks. I don't know how long Mass takes to do its thing, but I'm quite sure that if your job is hanging on this, they already KNOW it takex X amount of time, they wouldn't expect yours any faster or slower than anyone else's.

Congrats!
