Well I finally did it. 6 months after I graduated. I took it and I was ready. The computer shut off at 110. Just want to let anyone know that is going to be taking it soon. It was more content based than anything because almost half of my questions were select all that apply. I studied with the hurst review & and the RED NCLEX PN Saunders book. I studied that NCLEX book in and out and it is closest to the format of the actual NCLEX. However to me the NCLEX mastery app was nothing like that actual NCLEX.

Thank you! It sure is a relief! I guess it's all about perspective. I used hurst for the content & the red NCLEX book to gauge how much i had retained. A lot of ppl like the app. To me the app was more like the HESI - which to me was harder than the nclex because of the phrasing although my nclex was about 40 % select all that apply.

WOW..everyone say that the nclex mastery was a good program. Which they give you double the money if you don't pass the nclex..:)

Yea lol it's all perspective and everyone takes a different test but I felt like saunders was the closest thing to what I got...

Congrats !! it gives me hope lol. I've put my test off long enough and I'm currently scheduled to test two weeks from now. I've let my anxiety get the best of me. I see that you mentioned the red saunders pn book which is the same book I'm currently studying. Did you mainly focus on answering all the questions and reading rationales on the evolve site or did you utilize more of the book?? :wideyed: my anxiety is through the roof but I refuse to put this test off any longer.

What I meant by content based is that 40% of my questions were select l that apply. Prior to taking the test I read on the NSCBN website you can get anywhere from 25-75% select all that apply. And yes they were for disease processes or expected findings.
