i cannot believe it. i have been on allnurses for 8 years, and it is unbelievably weird to be on this side! :eek: i want to say thanks for all the support i've gotten from "student" threads, and great information and web sites. you gals/guys are the best! :redbeathe

i went the slooooow loooooong way around to get here, being 47 now. but i am so glad i did. it is sooo worth all the hard work, though i hated those ^#@*! nursing concept maps! i am now in the process of getting a job...yup right during this recession. it's not easy, but i know god has a place for me. do any of you remember me from long ago??? the last year has been sooo stressful and hectic, i have barely showed my face here. hang in there if you're in the trenches. the end does come, believe me. it is still so weird after dinner not to dig back into my books every night. sometimes, i feel downright gleeful, and other times i miss the study! weird hah? i am actually taking a watercolor painting class just for the fun of it! :yeah: totally bizarre! i love it. you are going to do it, hang in there! feel free to private message me, i want to be supportive for those of you who struggle! god bless you! :loveya: heather

Congrats Heather! I am starting my program October 12 and am so nervous...I am so nervous and scared, it is good to hear just a post of joy and excitement! May lots of good things come your way.
