I got an 80 on my first med-surg exam so I guess I used the right study techniques. The best one is to actually read the book. It helps to answer sample test questions too.

I also take my lecture powerpoints and keep them handy while I am reading the textbook so that I can understand the information more clearly. also I add additional notes to my ppts from the assigned readings. Finally as you have mention: I do the chapter questions at the end which is always helpful to see if I am understanding the material that I had just read.:typing
