Just follow instructions for endorsement and no you do not have to sit NCLEX again it is a National exam

Specializes in Case mgmt., rehab, (CRRN), LTC & psych.

You need to apply for licensure by endorsement in the state where you plan to work. In addition, you need to pay the appropriate fees in order for your application to be processed.

Specializes in ED, ICU, MS/MT, PCU, CM, House Sup, Frontline mgr.

op: no, you do not have to retake the nclex. if i were you, i would start the process now and not wait for a job. that way if you run into applications that require that you already have idaho's state license you may be ahead of the game.

Idaho's fee is $110 (+ $25 for a temporary) & if ur state participates in NURSYS (license verification), that's $30.
