Hi.im from philippines. i took nclex-california last 2007 and received a letter by january 2008 that i passed it. Now its 2016 and until now i couldnt provide an SSN number. My agent told me to endorse it in NEW YORK. I tried checking the website of NY BON and CALI BON but im confused about the application forms as i couldnt find a any information re: pass letter.
i wish to make my nclex pass letter be endorsed to NY and turn it into active license. Will anyone of you who have a kind heart to tell me how to do it. Im totally lost in this situation right now

you need to commence CVS with CGFNS and arrange with CA to forward results of your NCLEX. Unless you are planning on living and working in NY not sure why you would want to register with NY.
By the way you have no license to endorse so have to start with application for exam
thank you for commenting on this topic. my agent told me that New york is the state wherein has the most easiest and fastest way of processing the endorsement compared to other states. im totally clueless because i thought i won't be able to apply anymore in the US since my pass letter has long been expired. so which one should i do first? the CGFNS or go to CA BON to ask them to forward my result to new york or gor to NY BON to apply for examination, but do i still need to repeat the exam?
NY is not the fastest state to register with. Cvs takes approx 6 months as CGFNS do all the work. The state then reviews application and can take up to another 2 months to get decision and it is at this stage they will decide whether you have to sit NCLEX again or not

If you have not worked as a nurse CABRN requires NCLEX to be retaken after 8 years so be prepared to have to retake the NCLEX
but i took the nclex exam last 2007, so if i'm not mistaken it's been 9 years this year and that means that i have the possibility to retake again the test? (which is personally i dont want to retake it again again. then the 2nd option the my agent has asked me aside from new york is COLORADO. How about that state?
Yes. CA can refuse to transfer your NCLEX results as it's been nearly a decade and much has changed. It won't matter where you apply for an initial license if your results are invalid
I just found out that the 8 year renewal that was mentioned earlier was after the 3 years validity of the pass letter.i got mine january 2008 so 3years from that will be 2011,and from 2011 to this year is just the 5th year. Would that mean that its still ok? Any advise which state can process the pass letter the fastest way way. Please i really need all your help. I want to save my hard-earned nclex
Fastest may be most expensive. Your file was destroyed in 2011. Most economical and efficient is to apply for a nursing license by examination in the state you plan to live and work. Most states require CGFNS CES. Many require proof of English language proficiency. NY requires CVS (at least 6 month) do you have a work visa and social security number? Technically non nursing license is to be issued to non-citizens that don't have a SSN/work rights per federal mandate (states are slowly implementing). Several states will not issue an initial license if it's been >4 years since you graduated (TX is one)
Thank you again for replying. I already have the IELTS (i took it this year) . The recruitment healthcare that i'am in had told me to endorse it either NY or colorado,it doesnt matter which state because what she wanted me to do is make my nclex become a physical license. Additionally, she told me once i have that and there's any job opening to any state, she will then endorse it(physical license) to that particular state. So between coloroado and New York which one do you think better? I know both state i need to get cgfns but which state does need less requirement? Is it true that i also need to do courses online for chd abuse and infection control in NY?
Assuming that i need to do that,so Colorado means need less requirement?which one of the two needs less requirement?
