Part time nurse seeking benefits, but from where?

Hello,

Both my girlfriend and I are graduating this year and were offered jobs at our local hospital. Because we will have part-time status we do not have health coverage. Therefore, we both would like to find health coverage, but do not know who the best company would be to go with?

I'm aware I could see what the hospital has to offer and possibly ask if I can pay into coverage through them, however, I'm wondering if there are other companies that will offer better deals/coverage?
