Park Plaza Hospital-Houston?

Has anyone here heard of Park Plaza Hospital in Houston? I applied for their residency program and im curious what is the reputation of the hospital.

It's been around for quite a while. Originally gaining distinction from it's unique, "patient-centered" design which was very original at the time. Over the years, it has had a solid reputation, but it is on the fringe of the Texas Medical Center, it's overshadowed by those world-class facilities. I haven't heard of anything remarkably bad or good - Healthgrade reviews show it's about average in clinical care.

IMO, PP's location is pretty ideal. Hermann Park Rose Garden & Museum of Natural Science are right across the street. It's next door to the rest of the Museum District & within an easy walk of Rice University. Parking is certainly not as difficult as TMC. I understand they did a nice refurbishment a few years ago with very attractive results.

Best of luck to you. Keep us posted on your experience.

Thank you for responding. I am still waiting to hear back from them. I tried to search online for any information about the working conditions on their hospital. It seems like there are more negative than positive reviews.
