Paid internships for a student nurse?

Hi! I am new to this board. I am a junior nursing student at a college in CT, but I am from MA. We are all being told that we should try to find internships this summer to gain experience. Last summer I was very lucky and had a paid internship at UMass Memorial, however they do not allow the same student to continue with the internship more than once. This means I am searching for an internship this summer. I really need something that is paid because I need to provide for myself... if worst came to worst I would look into unpaid ones but would also need a paid job on the side. So my question is: Does anyone know which hospitals in MA provide paid internships to student nurses, specifically for the summer? Have you had experience with any of them? Where would I go to find information about how to apply for these positions? I am also going to be looking in CT but would really like to spend my last summer before graduation at home in MA if possible (plus if I can live at home then I don't have to pay rent all summer...)

If this helps, my clinical experience by the summer will be:

1 semester Psychiatric

1 semester OB

1 semester Med-Surg

you should contact your school. Our school posts intern for the summer but the jobs are in other countires. You get room and board plus pay. Good Luck

I think the Lahey Clinic has one in Critical Care. I'm not 100% sure but I'd double check :).
