Ooo, I know that feeling.
I had a hard time explaining to my DH that my one book was going to cost more than the tuition for class did. :uhoh21: :imbar

I went to the library and checked out the Microbio book I needed. If I can't renew it it will only cost me $9.00 in ovedue fees vs. $160!! See if that's possible next time. You can write in the book but for free I'll take it. :)

Doesn't it just make you want to cry? I paid $200 for one book set alone!
half.com and amazon.com have become my friends. You can find a lot of the txt books used for really reasonable prices.

My books (for 2 classes/3 books) were $160. (I already had the A&P book from last semester, which cost $40, so I didn't have the buy that.) My big secret? Amazon!
I got my Medical Dosage Calculations at the college bookstore for $50, but I got my Micro book ($45; retail: $130) and lab book ($66; retail: $77) used on Amazon. And they were in great condition.
