For me its called Transition to the Registered Professional nurse role but the contents are the same. I read a previous thread on how stupid this exam is and I think I want to take it next. Did you buy the recommended books or did you use study notes from EBAY. Right now the books are gonna set me back about $75-100. I usually read the material but you guys talk like the content is ridiculous. Could you advise me. I want to register today and order the books of Half.com if necessary. TIA.

for me i only use lisa arends cd's. nc 7 to my was dry and dull . my test did not contain much actual nursing situation question and that is where i get all freaked out. i passed with a c and that is good enough for me. i could have received a better score if i had tried to study more....:uhoh3:

I used Chancellor's, plus a little of Lisa Arends' notes, plus some files that I downloaded from one of YahooGroups. PM me with your email address and I'll send the notes to you! :) The EC practice exams were pretty helpful, too.

Has anyone ever taken the tests out of sequence?
I took NC7 between NC4 and NC5 -- not for any reason in particular, but just because I could. :) NC7 is very different from the other exams, and I could study for it and NC4 at the same time without too much stress.
i do everything out of sequence ..keeps my life interesting.
for me
nc 1
nc 6
nc 7
nc 3
nc 4
nc 5
