I just got my acceptance last week and placed my deposit (goes towards tuition) to save my spot. Goodluck!
They were SUPER nice and really great. It was refreshing given that most experiences of applying to nursing school haven't been great.
Congratulations! Did they say anything about when the cohort will start?
I also saw you applied to SU! im wondering if its worth it to wait another year and apply to SU again if my end goal is a DNP. But then if you get the ABSN there are options for DNP and you aren't tied to one school!

In all honesty, it depends on your life situation. At this point, I don’t have any other options. The pandemic put a toll on me.. I guess to alot of us. I became a mom and didn’t realize it’s been 3years since I got my Associates in prenursing. I’m still waitlisted at SU and still hopeful. It would be nice to have breaks and not suppress all the infos in a scrunched time of learning. My classes are about to expire and I don’t want to repeat them to reapply for next year. So I really need to get started this fall. Also, I don’t want to take the long route of RN to BSN then to MSN/DNP. My end goal is DNP too..in nurse anesthesia. If you have more flexibility and want to save $ for school, then reapplying next year to SU wouldn’t be a bad idea. And I agree you still have options to DNP when you take the ABSN. The big thing with the 16months program is money and your support system. In the end.. whatever route you take, it’s gonna be all worth it.
Totally! I have two kiddos and edging 40 so I want to start soon as well. I think Su's waitlist is done the program started on Tuesday. Hope to meet you and thank you for insight. I don't feel as alone in this path now!
I just got my acceptance!

Of course! Email me @ [email protected] if you have questions. We are probably going to be in the same cohort. Exciting!

Hey Everyone!
I had a few questions. I just learned this afternoon about the program. I was actually accepted to PLU's Masters of Nursing program but I live 2 hours away and it's not doable with my children's schedules. I'm planning on doing the info session tomorrow and was curious if anyone knew if the program is still accepting applications for fall cohort? If so what do you think was the turnaround time from start to finish with the application process? Did they give an outline of what the amount of time on campus looks like per week? Can you stay employed during the program?
Thanks
Ash :)
