Hi, I was in a car accident in august and went for an ultrasound in November and was told I have abdominal cysts... well today I went back to the doc b/c i was in another car accident and he had my file pulled up on screen and he had to step out of the office... Well on the screen it says I have 7 ovarian cysts.... Should i be alarmed... Does anyone have any info about ovarian cysts and what I should do. He said they aren't related to the accident.. but I never had any lumps there till after the accident.. and i mean it might be with a seat belt holding u in at 100km/hr. Thanks

Check out this link http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/ovarian-cysts/DS00129
I found it to be straight forward and to the point, look at the bottom red lettering for the next page (I almost missed that).
I have had three ovarian cyst ruptures, and they were painful, but helped with toridol shots (very effective for me!). But many times these cysts are reabsorbed and not probelmatic. It is common and normal actually.

This is something only your doctor who knows your history can answer. It sounds like you are very concerned about this, maybe getting a second (or 3rd) opinion is in order?
Good luck.
