Out-of-Province Student to MacEwan

by d_ow d_ow (New) New Student

Hello! I am currently a student applying to the Winter intake of MacEwan University for the BSN program. I'm applying from BC and I've taken most of the courses for the Health Foundations Certificate at KPU.

I'm currently sitting at a 3.54 GPA and I just submitted my transcripts and application for MacEwan. Will my GPA be recalculated to fit the GPA at MacEwan or will it remain in terms of my school's GPA scale? I have no idea if I'm going to be accepted because I couldn't find many posts of students doing the same thing as me.

I'm just seeing if there are any other current or previous out-of-province applicants! Would my GPA be high enough or would I have to get it higher? I was also thinking about applying for the RPN program instead to see if I have a better chance.

Any help would be appreciated! 🙂

Correction* I meant to say that I was thinking about applying for the psych nurse diploma program!

Hey! I know you posted this awhile ago, but have you by any chance heard back from Macewan for the BSN program?
