OU 2021 TRADITIONAL BSN

Hello! I thought I’d pop in and be of some assistance. I’m currently in OU nursing Tulsa (first semester). I know how stressful it can be getting prepared and submitting everything for the program. I got in with a 3.89 cumulative GPA, and a 3.75 science GPA.

It still doesn’t feel real that I’m in it, but it’s definitely the hardest thing I’ve done academically! Nothing can really prepare you to endure your first semester. It’s one of the hardest in the program. Otherwise, it’s great. Covid threw a wrench in things, but we’ve adapted well (within the program)

Wow! I bet! How is it working with the covid? Are you guys doing classes online or face-to-face? By chance, have you heard of other students stats? Also, about when did you find out you were in?

Sorry for all the questions. It is nice to hear from someone who has been in my shoes!

We’re primarily online, but certain labs are in person and clinical is in person! We’re hopeful that come fall 2021 it’s fully back in person, but it’s all covid dependent. I’m not fully sure other people’s stats, but I’ve heard they were similar to mine with like a 2 point deviation? I applied in November and found out I was accepted in December (last year), but I’ve heard of people hearing up until February. I don’t mind sharing! I would’ve killed for someone to have given insight when I first discovered this forum!

Hi there! I have not heard anything yet! The nursing committee was supposed to meet last Wednesday. I’m hopeful it’ll be sometime this week; but won’t be surprised if it’s not. They said we would know before March 1! Have you heard anything yet?
I have been checking my email every morning in hopes that I see something! A couple days ago I received an email from nursingcas, I got all excited thinking it was it just to realize it was a updated GPA notification ?

Same here! I did email to see when we could expect to know and she gave the same timeframe you mentioned. She did say that it would show up on NursingCAS first which I was a little confused about since I was just looking at the OU admissions site. I'm soo anxious LOL. But good luck!!
