Hello All!
Just found out today that I was accepted to OU health science center in Oklahoma City! Yay! :) I couldn't find a thread so decided to start one and see if there any other students that were accepted.

Congratulations on your acceptance!!
I was wondering if you could tell me if all your pre-reqs were satisfied before getting in? I found an old post from '09 were a couple girls didn't get in to OU's program, despite their good GPAs. I have a feeling it was because they both had a few classes to go when they applied. I plan on applying for Fall '06, but will still lack my upper division course, Microbiology and A&P II (I will take those Spring 16). OU just gave me an answer of "We prefer as many classes completed as possible", which doesn't help me much.
Thanks, and congrats again!

Thank you! I had only 1 class in progress when I applied which was History 2. The more classes you have done the better, it's true. A few students had all classes done when applying and they received acceptance notice before I did. They have go based upon grades since they don't require or look at entrance exam scores. Unfortunately, I declined and will be going to school in Texas where I live. Still feel free to ask any questions you may have. Good luck on applying and hope you get accepted!
Thanks so much for replying! I will still apply to OU (and UCO) this fall, but I have a feeling lacking completion of those 2 major science courses will really hurt my chances. UCO as a Spring start, so if I don't get in a program in the fall, I will at least be able to apply to UCO again in the Spring. I need to set up meetings with advisors at both places probably! Thanks again for response and best of luck in Texas with your program!
