Hi, I'm looking for a successful OTC way of treating acne. My sister (16) has been plauged by acne for years. She tried OTC creams, didn't work, went to the NP and tried various prescriptions, just made her skin irritant, did nothing for the acne. She's now trying ProActive, which definitely is not working, but she says it's one of the few that hasn't irritated her skin. My sister would perfer OTC treatment. Any suggestions? :)

I tried proactiv and it worked fine until recently. I have heard of the generic version of it from walmart working for some as well.
What currently has helped me is Aveeno clear complexion bar and blemish moisturizer with Salycic Acid.
Best wishes to you.
