OSU OKC Fall 2017

Published

I noticed there are threads for past semesters so I wanted to make one for people applying for Fall of 2017! I am applying with 80 pts, which is too close for comfort for my liking. I know the last few semesters have gotten in with that, but you never know! I am so anxious.

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Hello! I applied with 96 points. I am a teacher who is changing careers, and am super-excited about nursing school! Good luck to you!!

Hello everyone!

Seeing as tomorrow is March 1st, and the deadline for OSUOKC nursing applications for Fall 2017, I am getting excited to find out already.

I am applying with 81 points, which is still close to the previous cut off, but I am excited! I applied last semester and didn't get in because I didn't have Physiology yet.

Also, I found out that OSUOKC will accept Intro to Chemistry as long as you have Physiology. I mention this because I was under the impression that I had to have General Chemistry 1, which I currently am taking because I thought I needed to.

*note to anyone who is transferring from UCO

Good luck to everyone!

Good luck to you all! I am so anxious to find out.

Hello, future classmates, I am getting excited about our future. I applied for this semester and was happy to see a confirmation in my email that my packet was received and that I was added to the applicant pool. Good luck to you all.

Quick question: I heard we had to have an I-Pad for part of the curriculum, and an Android tablet would not work..has anyone else heard this? I really despise Apple products.

Hey there! I have applied to the program with 81 points and I'm hoping it will be enough! Best of luck to all of you and hopefully we will all meet soon! :)

Does anyone know when to expect a letter? I'm soooooo anxious. I'm assuming end of March, early April based off of previous years.

About the second week of April :borg:

Does anyone have an idea of what the cutoff while be for this application pool? I'm applying with 71 points and thought I would try applying, although I will be prepared for a waitlist or rejection in case the cutoff is higher. I've just heard that it's been lower than 70 before!

I have no idea. I read one of the old threads that people have called and they will tell you, but i don't know if they would now!! I guess its worth a shot. Advisor told me that last semester everyone with 79 points or more got in and then a lot of waitlisted people ended up getting in. She said it ended up being everyone with 75 or more after it was all said and done.
