I am starting Jan! My orientation is on Jan. 14th and school starts the 20th. I'm excited, nervous and already feeling behind in my household chores! I've been reading my Fundamentals of Nursing book and so far, it's boring! I can't wait to get back to school and hit the books! Good luck and yippee! It's almost here!

I'm starting in January as well! Orientation is on the 4th and classes start on the 6th. I'm starting to feel anxious about this new transition in my life.
My classes start on the 7th.
I know what you mean about feeling behind on your household chores... lol... For the last month I've been getting everything organized and ready for the start of the Program... Today I've been doing laundry all day because I don't know when the next time I'll have time to do it will be. lol.
I'm feeling a little nervous about starting the program too.
Good Luck to everyone!
Let me know how your orientation and first day of class goes

Best of luck to all of you starting in January!! It sure is quite a transition but it sounds like you are all getting a leg up on the reading which is GREAT!!!
I suggest cooking up big meals that you can freeze or use for multiple meals if you can! Have easily prepared meal items in the house and definitely get nice and organized ahead of time!!!

My orientation is on the 10th and classes begin on the 11th (Jan). I've never been this excited to start school. I'm sure I'm going to regret that once classes begin and all the workload starts lol. I feel like I'm begining a new chapter in my life and I am so pumped! I'm already freaking out about getting all my books, school supplies, etc.. Congrats to everybody else starting Jan! Hopefully this semester goes by as smooth as possible.

I start classes on January 11th and I am really excited as well! However, I am also stressed, because my financial aid still has not been finalized and I am unable to purchase my books. I go to Ivy Tech and will be switching campuses next semester. I had to cancel my aid at my old campus, reapply at my new campus, and submit a change of campus form. I kept in regular contact with the aid department and they said it was all that needed to be done, and they couldn't figure out why I wasn't receiving my aid. I got a phone call today and I guess one of the advisors spoke with their supervisor, and they have to manually do something to my account in order for me to receive my aid. They said I should have my aid sometime next week, but it's getting way too close to the 11th. :uhoh21:
I do have my house fully cleaned and purchased two calendars for my study/office space. One is a huge desk calendar that I hung on my wall so that it can stare me right in the face for school related things, and the other is a regular wall calendar I put on my side wall for everything else. I still feel the need to purchase a planner though for all of my assignments. I just can't wait to start classes. I only have one class on the 11th which is Fundamentals lab from 8am-10:50am and that's it for the day. Looks like Thursdays will be the longest day for me for the first half of the semester, Fundamentals class from 8:30am-12:50am then Pharmacology from 1pm-3:50pm.
