if you need this as a prerequisite course for a nursing program you will want to find out what online courses are acceptable to that program. a lot of nursing schools will not take online courses with labs unless it is a course offered by the same college as the nursing program. don't just take any online course unless you're sure you aren't wasting time and money!

You're not going to find a chemistry course with a lab online. You might find a hybrid course - but generally labs are in person. Have you checked your community college?

There are plenty of online chem courses available. These include an online lab. Check out thomas edison university and montclair state university for examples. While both of these are located in joisey and are therefore cheaper for residents, it'll give you an idea of what's out there.

Thank you guys for your replies! So my nursing program does accept online lab (physical or virtual) from a regionally accredited institution. Thank you emtb2rn for your suggestions. I am a Jersey resident so those programs are great for in state tuition but unfortunately, the dates offered do not work for me. itsthatjengirl- I did check with my local community college and registered but it did not work out at the last minute:(
Does anyone else have any other suggestions??
