Legacy RN Residency

U.S.A. Oregon

I started this thread to update everyone who applied for the residency program of Legacy Health. We will specify the month and year for everyone's reference.

You also had a second interview with the PICU or another specialty? I graduated in December of 2017 so pretty recent but not fresh and I have a few months of nursing experience.

I graduated 2007 recently passed NCLEX I'm a foreign grad with few months of experience. I am still hoping for a call but I don't know the likelihood of being hired because most of the applicants graduated recently.

I had a second interview too! @pdxging, have you heard back yet?

Hey! Congrats, that's awesome! With what specialty? I was just asked to submit references and a disclosure form via email last week but nothing since.

Also PICU! And I'm at the same spot, submitted references, etc, but haven't heard anything yet! Do you know how many they usually hire each cohort?

So exciting! Ya know, I'm really not sure... I never got a chance to ask. Although, I'm pretty sure that the PICU usually only takes residents once a year but I don't know much detail beyond that.

Yeah, it can be hard to ask these things directly! Well hopefully they take at least a few of us! It sounds like such a great unit.

Has anyone heard from any ICU positions?

Hi, I just interviewed for the Feb 2019 cohort. Did any of you apply as well? Anyone get a call back for a 2nd interview yet? I haven't yet.

I went to the first interview and am waiting to hear back... very anxiously, may I add!

Yes, I'm trying desperately not to think about it, but am feeling anxious too. How many did you interview with? I was able to interview with 4 units, but I really butchered my first one. :(

I did 4, and I butchered my first one because I was completely not ready with responses and it was the one I wanted. I should have waited, but oh well.

How's your application?
