Ok I've been an RN in ICU for almost 5 years! I started there right after Graduating! It was very stressful starting there right after school i never knew what a panic attack really was until my first year in ICU! Lol true story.. thought i was dieing! Anyway im not one to quit because i knew it had to get better once i got the hang of things! And it did but it was still a extremely stressful environment that wore me out physically and mentally! Not to mention i felt like i missed so much with my husband and son by working every other weekend and then all the holidays i missed with my young son broke my heart...plus those 12 hr shifts😝.. So finally after 5 years i had enough.. I literally dreaded going to work everyday and i just knew there has to be something better out there for me..! So anyway after a much needed break from nursing for about 4 months now( it was a blessing) but I'm ready to go back to work! But fear getting back into a situation like i was in! Sorry so long but felt i needed to explain where im coming from...

So finally here's my question I have 2 job offers..

one is in a pain management clinic working with 2 MDs and about 4 RN and 4 Lpns. The hours are 8- 5 Mon-Fri no weekend or holidays! Still making a little more then i was making in the ICU! And i always hear clinics are not as chaotic as hospitals! ...

The other job offer is in a OR -which has always been an interest of mine and then again esp. after I feel in love with Greys Anatomy😄..but really everything about surgery is just so interesting to me) the hours are 6:30am-3pm mon-fri and one weekend a month your on call making same as clinic offer ..oh & the fact that they offered me a 6000 dollar sign on bonus helps! But money definitely isn't everything to me .. i just really want to enjoy my job! thats why i need advice ! Who loved/hated working as a OR nurse? What about a pain management physicans office? Also i may have a job offer in a DS/ PACU working 630am-3pm! But not 100% sure yet on that!! Anyone love working DaySurgery/PACU?

Please any and all advice is much needed !!!!

Thanks again!!!

Oh and new to this site so hope i did it right? If not please let me know! Thanks
