My next exam is for Transitions. I am worrying about attaining the info, from what I her its very dry/ boring. I have the required text books. I will do the practice exams. I also bought study101 notes. Do yu think Lisa Arends or any other additional info wil help

I think you have enough material. You need to look at the EC content guide & read the recommended chapters or study the related info from your studygroup 101 material that will be on the exam. Don't overwhelm yourself with study material, & yes the material is dry. I have used studygroup 101 & old textbook editions only & it has worked out fine....Sylvia

I'm not a huge fan of the Lisa Arends notes. Just stick to the content guide, I used the internet a lot with this exam too because it's a lot of history so just punch a name into Wickipedia and you get a whole history. I also used flashcards with this exam which helped a LOT.

I also think you have enough material for transitions and I have noticed that a lot of people find L. Arends material to be less than optimal. For all of the tests, you might want to look on http://www.flashcardexchange.com. There is one test that has one group of more than 800 flashcards for just the one test. You will find that you need to translate the titles of your tests to the old Nursing Concepts 1-6, though, as that is how most of the material has been submitted. Same info though. Good luck.

I just used that and the practice exams and got As & Bs. Good luck!

I used the texts and Lisa Arends. One day many people will figure out what all the notes are about. It took me the 3rd exam to figure it out myself. I don't suggest you need both SG101 and Arend's notes. One or the other should suffice.
