My school offers A&P I online and I am considering taking it this summer. It would be an 8 week course with labs on campus once a week. I have read on here that A&P has quite a bit of information for a person to learn and a lot of memorization. I'm a bit undecided since I don't know anyone who has done this course online. I know some people struggle in these classes on campus so Im curious about how it would be taking in all this information in only 1/2 that time. :yldhdbng:
If anyone has done A&P online, what was your experience and would you recommend it? (If no, please explain)

Hey. My A&P is online and one lab on campus 4 hrs a week. It is a ton of information. Make sure you check up on your teacher before taking the class. I think it is so much to remember, but I don't think I would be doing any better or worse if I went to class 5 days a week. It is a lot of self discipline. Just be ready to pack your mind full!!
Best of luck to you, This is my most challenging class yet, simply because of the memorization.
P.s. 8 weeks isn't much time.

I did A&P I and II last summer online. I just had to go to campus for the lecture and lab tests. Yes, my labs were online also via a CD. These classes were very time consuming. If I wasn't reading, studying or memorizing I was listening to my tape recorder with my lecture material on it. I am glad I got the classes out of the way but it was a lot of work. I remember one of my tests I had to know the answers to 700 possible questions that would be on the test. That was just for the lecture portion. Then on the same day I would take the lab test too. (Each chapter had 100 questions that we had to find the answers to before each test and then any of those questions could be on the test.) Because of how demanding the first summer session was I was seriously considering putting A&P II off but then I just decided to take it. I already had the book. I know classes are always changing textbooks and I already got down how this professor structured his class so I just pushed through.
So to answer your question; if you have the time to put into the class and you are motivated then you should do fine. Otherwise, maybe wait until the fall semester.
