Opinion on your uniforms?

I hate our uniforms. It's not the colors, black pants and white shirt, but it's the fact that the white top is not a traditional scrub top. That doesn't really bother me but I think the shirt is intended to be for some sort of other uniform than healthcare I swear. It zips in the front with color on the sleeves. The older uniforms are so much better. It is white button down shirt that is slightly silky with color on the sleeves.

I think the button down shirts look more professional.

Remember, it is potentially identifying if you describe the uniform.

I can't stand white pants. It's just an accident waiting to happen. :( However, I am especially lucky that during theory and lab days I can wear whatever scrubs I like. Yay!!

Our scrubs are navy blue. I'm okay with the color- but our scrub tops zipper. And they don't fully zipper, they start like 2" from the bottom of the top and then zipper, ha. :speechless: We also have polo shirts for specific rotations (Peds and Psychiatric rotations), which I actually like. Otherwise, I like our scrubs, it's just that zipper!

I think those are like our female scrub tops! I think the guys zipper fully but the females zipper from the bottom!

For psych and peds, we still wear those tops.

We get to wear whatever we want to lecture and labs. I will be honest, some of my scrub tops are yellowing and have stains on them. I did pour bleach to whiten them up a little bit and surprisingly the bleach didn't bleach out the color on the patch or stripes.

Our scrubs are all-white, ugh. We have the choice of a unisex or women's top; the female scrub top cinches in at the waist with a drawstring and also oddly has buttons going up the back. Stocking up on nude underwear!

We have our specific colors picked out, and we can buy whatever style or brand we like as long as they are that color. Then we just have to attach our own school patch. So it doesn't bother me.

I feel like I'm wearing pajamas, which makes me feel lazy and ready for a nap.

Hahaha, OH BOY, I thought we were the only ones who got stuck with those awful not-quite-full-zip polyester-blend tops. They're so warm and itchy! And we have them in white so we look like orderlies. I would love just a plain scrub top or polo shirt--I will never wear that thing again after graduation, it's so awful.

Ours were white tops and bottoms, no color at all, with button up shirts. They weren't too bad but a pain to keep clean. We had ceil blue scrubs for things like surgery, OB, and khakis with blue polos for psych and service learning.

We have ceil blue uniforms that we need to wear for clinicals and skills check offs, we can wear what ever we want at other times. The top is a unisex...so it will probably hang weird on most of us, but we had a choice of three pants styles (unisex, womens, or mens). I actually don't mind our uniforms - they've got lots of pockets.

Mine is white scrub top, hunter green pants, white lab coat, hunter green warm up jacket (because we can't wear long sleeve shirts under our scrub tops), white shoes, green name pin with white lettering.

We have all-white uniforms with the zip-up top and our school's patches on them. I hate them, but it's only 14 months, so it's gonna be OK. The thing that really bugs me about them is that they are HORRIBLE quality. The stitching is already starting to fall out and I have had to wash them maybe 3 or 4 times so far.
