just like NCLEX prep, you'll find a plethora of resources. Personally I am registered for a CNOR prep class and have a CNOR prep book published by the organization who administers the CNOR certification (not secretly hoping it's a good, legitimate resource).

I used the resources published by CCI as well as the AORN online prep course that offers money back. Bonus: the prep course CEs counted towards the renewal!

I just took the CNOR exam last weekend! I took a instructor/classroom review course that work had provided for us through CCI. I learned some valuable info though... like what to look for in analyzing questions or specifics that are likely to be on the exam. Otherwise, the materials from CCI were very helpful too. I utilized both the book, flashcards, and practice test. What I found most handy was the CNOR test prep app with 600 questions! I could practice anywhere, anytime. Good luck!!

Unfortunately my hospital only offers a review course once a year. I did purchase the pocketprep app! I agree, it's very convenient. Any guidance on what content to review?

    Hi,
You mentioned an app you used to study for CNOR. There are so many and most don't have reviews. Can you tell me the name of the app you used and describe what the icon looks like so I can be sure I'm getting the one you used?

    Thanks a bunch

The one I used is from "Pocket Prep". Free to use, but you pay to unlock all the questions. I prepped a few months before by attending a Zander prep class, then went over the content a couple weeks before the test and went through about 500 of the available 600 questions from the CNOR prep.

I used "Pocket prep" it's about $35 to unlock all the questions. I really liked this app because it gives you the rationale. I also took the Zander prep course on a weekend. I took the prep course in Mid Feb, started studying in March and took the test on 4/4!

The test has very basic questions, but also hard ones that you must really think about what it's asking.
