Well, finally getting around to taking my CNOR...paid and now studying. If anyone knows any good (cheap) study guides please let me know! Wish me luck!

I used the study guide that's listed online, and checked out the books and the CCI study guide/CD from my hospital's OR library. I paid $35 for an on-line test, and took it several times just to practice. I passed it on the first try, and spent less than $40 on study materials. The test is hard, but if you study the areas you're less familiar with you'll be fine. Make sure you study temps, humidity, disinfection vs sterilization, steam vs gas, general vs terminal cleaning, etc. Those are the parts that you will have no clue on, because the parameters are absolute. Good Luck to you!

So many sites(Barnes and noble, amazon, ect) allow you to review a few pages of any book before you buy. So I "reviewed" every study guide I could. It was like getting 200 more questions for free!
