I thought I lost my Littmann so I got an Ultrascope instead. Of course I found the other one, so now I have two. I'm totes using the Ultrascope instead from now on. I can hear SO much better with it, and it's a ton lighter. Win!
I got mine on sale at allheart, but I don't know how long it's discounted. Hot pink tubing ftw!

I have an ultrascope too! I'm about to start nursing school, so I haven't been able to try it on other people besides my family. I love the picture (sunset beach) and it's so loud that an errant tap hurts my ears... haha My name is engraved so there will never be a mix up. :)

Is that the one with the cute designs and color choices? What specialty are you in?

I've been looking at them, because I start nursing school in January. I never liked the Littman when I was a paramedic, I had one that was made by Dixie EMS that looked a lot like the Ultrascope that I loved, but I left hanging in my truck one Texas summer day and warped the tubing.
Glad to hear that they're good quality from people actually using them. Now to decide on color/design! :)

I have a holographic one with purple tubing that I bought 10 years ago, and it's still going strong. I love it---I can hear much better with the Ultrascope than I ever could with my (then) $200 Littman Cardiology scope, and I paid only about ninety bucks for it. Which goes to prove that you don't always get what you pay for!
