Hi Everyone!
This is super early to talk about applying to nursing school for 2016, but it's always better to be well-prepared! Let's share some thoughts and help each other out!
I am re-applying to nursing schools as I did not get in last year, and planning to enroll to more courses for pre-reqs and to increase my GPA (I graduated with a B.A.)hopefully this year will be much better and with luck!!!!
I have a few universities in mind to apply -
Should I apply to more? Which one should I apply? I am super eager to enter the program and I failed once, failing twice is not allowed!
Feel Free to give me suggestions or ask questions! Here is a link I found online listing most of the second entry nursing programs.
Best wishes to everyone! Good Luck!

does anybody know whether york has given out all of their acceptances yet? i read that one person's status went from no decision yet to waitlisted. mine still says no decision yet
i think everything is just slowly rolling out now, I know some people who have been accepted at York Mac Humber and uofT by now, I wouldn't start to worry until it gets closer to the end of the month
Just go into western nursing. 85.01% average and a gpa of 3.75 according to orpas for anyone that is curious to where they stand. Waiting on offers for ot and pt this coming Friday ! Exciting times!
Congrats!! If you don't mind me asking what year did you apply out of? I'm applying out of second year in BSc Kin and am a student at western with an 84.95%, I'm not sure if Western considers the program your in and how many years you've been in school for
Has anyone decided if they will be going to Mac? It was my second choice, but I'm having doubts about PBL curriculum because I've never experienced something like that in my schooling career... Does anyone have experience with this type of learning? I tend to get nervous presenting among people, will this hinder my learning and grade?

Hi! I was apart of Macs midwifery program and we used PBL. I will be starting their nursing program in the fall. I am a shy person and I found that I liked PBL. It teaches a lot of professional skills. You have to self teach which you will do as a nurse. Also, it forces you to communicate and work as a group. It's different, but will prepare you for nursing
