Hey everyone!
I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.

My 10th course lies in another semester, do they then average the entire semester? Or do they only average the last 10 courses regardless of the semester.
Also for U of T, is an 86% a 4.0 or a 3.9? people are saying both LOL
UofT looks at the most recent 5 courses. However if they have to look at another semester to get to that, they will most likely include the entire semester.
An 86% on the UofT GPA scale is a 4.0!

Congrats to those who have already received acceptances! I hope everyone is doing OK and taking time to relax/stay calm during such crazy times.
Is anyone else currently taking any pre-reqs for the 2021 intake? I imagine we would only get conditional offers if so, or would this automatically put you on a waitlist?
I was behind 2 credits in humanities for U of T, so taking them online through Guelph Open ED now ?
Hey! I am currently taking BIOL 235 from Athabasca U and a bit stressed about it! I'm making it super compressed with the hopes to get a grade in time for U of T prereq grade deadline (end of May). Meanwhile, Nipissing needs the grades end of June, I think.
I'm wondering this as well...if it's automatic waitlist. I think it would be conditional offer though.

its not an automatic waitlist, but they do need the final transcript before a decision is made (I was told be someone in the program)
Hi everyone! Quick question, I applied to Nippissing and wrote the CASPer test on Feburary 11th, but my WebAdvisor says "Submit by deadline" for the CASPer results. Everything else is recieved as expected. Does anyone else have the same staus regarding their CASPer results? I hope they are not delayed!

It's a conditional offer. I took BIOL 235 last year and got waitlisted for Nipissing in March. The waitlist opened up the second week of April and I worked really hard to get it done by then, hoping it would help my chances. I didn't have my official transcript from Athabasca, so I sent them my unofficial one, hoping it would boost my chances. I was the first one off the waitlist, so I don't know if that helped or not, but it was still a conditional offer until the official transcript came in. The only reason I wanted to get it done early though was so that the grade would count towards my GPA, since I was going to do really well in it. If I was confident in my GPA all ready, I wouldn't have worried about rushing.

Yes, totally normal. It takes at least three weeks for them to get your CASPer results.

If took a full three weeks for my results to get out to the schools when I took it back in November, so yours should be updated soon!
