I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.

Mine says that too. I received an email recently from McMaster and they said the status of the CASPer exam should be changed in late march to "received". They also said admission decisions will be released in May.....soooo...we have a long wait a head of us unfortunately!

AH THANK YOU!! ??? it's definitely in my top three!! I'm currently a student at york, so it's definitely nice that it'll be the same campus!! my other top options seem a little out of my league though ?? so most likely I'll be going to york!!

Congrats on the acceptance, there are so many of you all hearing back so soon! If you don't mind me asking when did you apply and what was your GPA like? Also what other schools were you looking to get into! Congrats again, hopefully you do get into your top choice!
Has anyone else recently been getting emails from York saying they received your application? I have been getting them every day for the past 4 days I believe and im not sure if theres anything wrong with my application, its just making me nervous haha

I don't mind at all! so for york we were told to apply between december and feb, and I applied literally december first ? and I wrote my casper in January!! my GPA for the last 2 years is a 3.8 and cgpa is a little lower, at 3.3!! I'm applying to practically every school in ontario that offers second entry nursing, like uoft, mac, western, queens, trent and humber!! for family reasons I hope to be able to commute so getting into uoft or mac would be a dream come true! where have you applied so far?

thank you so much!! ?? I'm currently a third year student so I applied through the program change request!! I'm sorry, I'm not fully sure for myfile but my program change still isn't updated!! I was emailed by the program assistant directly!!

maybe try emailing admissions just to confirm!! it might be a glitch in the system but it's better to be safe!!

I was hoping to commute as well to schools in the GTA! I applied to York, UofT, and Nipissing! I was debating on applying to humber as well but I was going to wait it out a bit and see if I get any offers from York or Nipissing within the next few weeks. Do you know Wheen the humber application is due by any chance?

Every time I have tried to email admissions they never got back haha, maybe I'll try emailing again, hopefully all is well!
