Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?
I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:
1. Queen's
2. McMaster
3. York
4. Humber-UNB
I just got waitlisted at UofT but will be declining it as I'm already going to Western! So this should open up a spot someone in the waitlist line.
To people going to Western, I can't wait to meet you guys! Really excited to start this nursing journey! Also, good luck to everyone waiting for a reply!

Since all the spots are filled, I don't think anyone that got an offer from UofT would decline their offer and we don't know what position we're in for the waitlist line. Anyone know how this works and if there are any chances?
I don't know how many people get off the waitlist, but I do think there's still a decent chance to get a spot because there are a lot of people declining offers for various reasons.
Last year, they sent out emails saying if you were in the top ten or not for the waitlist around mid-July. If I remember correctly, in the same email they detailed the process that you have to go through should a spot open up for you (police check, vaccinations, etc.). They did do a waitlist follow-up email around late August for a follow-up saying that if you still haven't got off the waitlist, your chances were slim. So basically from here on out, it is a waiting game.
Hope that helps! Also, keep in mind that that was the process that happened last year and not everything will be the same as I feel like they have definitely changed a lot of things since last year. Anyways, good luck to all on the waitlist! ?

Fingers crossed, hopefully we can be classmates together. Wishing lots of people get accepted at Toronto today and decline their western offer.
