Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?
I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:
1. Queen's
2. McMaster
3. York
4. Humber-UNB

I took a 3 credit first year-philosophy course at York called “The Meaning of Life” ? I think for course equivalencies they’re more strict with courses like anatomy, stats, Microbiology, and physiology because the equivalency PDF list they have up is only for those courses. Hope you hear from their admissions office soon!

Hey, I took determinism and freedom but I think any philosophy course is fine to take. There are no specifics!

CONGRATS on getting into UBC, by the way what's your GPA, I'm still waiting to hear from UofT.

Thank you! My GPA in my last year of studies, which I just finished, is a 3.93 (88%) on a 4.0 scale I think? I’m used to a 4.33 scale so I might be off! My GPA without my last semester is a 3.78 (82.5%). Good luck and don’t give up hope! ?
SO jealous of anyone starting nursing this September, especially folks going to U of T.
I initially planned to go to the states and kept all my focus on there rather than also looking at schools here in Canada. I got accepted into my first choice in the states but will no longer be able to go due to family issues and lack of financial aid. My das was initially going to fund my education but we are no longer on talking terms and has withdrawn support so its like all my dreams of starting school this fall have been crushed.
Uni of Calgary and St Francis Xavier will be accepting applications in a couple of weeks for January entry so I have a bit of hope. It just sucks because I was so set on starting this fall. Good luck to all of you!! Feel like hitting myself for completely neglecting Canada smh my naive self

IDK about ontario but I know calgary and manitoba have a Winter intake (jan 2021).

St Francis Xavier will be accepting for January 2021
University of Calgary aswell for Jan 2021 - their application opens on July 1st. Not sure about St Francis.
UofOttawa also has Spring entry but it will be for May 2021

my only guess is that April 10th was Good Friday and the institution was closed! I think every offer afterward was Friday and mine/two other friends of mine were on Friday as well! (unless someone here got in during the weekdays?)
