Online support group Moms in Nursing School

Hi everyone,

I wanted to set up a thread for any mom's in nursing school or moms having gone through nurisng school because I would love a place where people can share tips on what is working for them and a safe space to vent if it isnt! I would be happy to start a FB group but wanted to see if anyone was interested

OMG this great. I just started nursing school last month. I have a 13 year old son and I am having the hardest time balancing work, school and him. I feel bad like I"m never home anymore because of school and work. I would love to join this group and get tips from other moms in the same boat.

Nice to E meet you! I have two, a 5.5 year old boy and a 2.5 year old girl! I'm 38 and starting this fall too

I don't think the guilt ever really goes away but I am thrilled that they both love school! Stressed about post school and how the heck to study the 3 million hours they claim all the 20 somethings do!

I have two boys. My first is 2.5 & the other is a newborn. I plan on going back to school to get my RN.

Good for your girl! I was a mess with both my babies till they were at least 1 so I take my hat off to you for doing it with two just little ones!

This is a great idea. I just started an ADN program in January and have 4 kids ages 7, 4, and a set of 8 month old twins. It would be great to support one another!

I'm in my last semester with a 3.5 year old and a 17 month old. I had my 17 month old 4 weeks into my first semester and am currently 12 weeks pregnant with my third, but obviously I should be done by then (hopefully, provided I get through). I'm up for a private group if that's decided on.

Having kids, especially young, is definitely a challenge while in school, but I found that, as hard as it's been, they've truly been what's kept me going whenever I've felt like giving up.
